Hey all! Wanted to introduce myself as I am relatively new to the area. Been living in O'Fallon for about a year now. Recently relocated from Vegas. Military/Boeing guy. Anyone else out there on the west side that is down for meeting up/mod days/trail runs/burger burns/etc please let me know or add me to your list of contacts.

I will probably need to get some new shoes before I hit any trails out here. Have 51K on stock PoS Rugged Trails. (Worst tire I've ever owned)

I also am looking for a second hand left rear tail light as I smashed mine to shit on a midnight trail run last summer down at the Ozarks.

If you see me out and about honk or flash your high beams! Pretty stock MGM Access Cab. Sometimes I have my shell on, sometimes I don't.

For the record, I've been a Royals fan since I was three. That was 32 years ago.

 

Hey Wing, welcome to St Louis. I relocated here 3 years ago, seems we have a common employer. I am out west as well but across the river. I drive a bone stock MGM DCSB TRD OR.

If you had the Dunflops to start with, you probably wouldn't be knocking the BFG's! I am way happier with the BFG's on my new truck.

I don't have any mods planned, but I have tools and pretty much know how to use them if anyone ever gets around to organizing a mod day around here.

Sorry I didn't realize you already had it posted on here before I responded to your CL ad. I already have a shell (Snugtop) but I've always got an eye out for one with the side windows that open like the back. Yours seems like a real good deal. Maybe some other TW member in this thread will take it off your hands?

Taco42, welcome! Now your fun starts with all the mods you want to do. I'd start with hood struts followed by console vault. Have fun!

 

Thanks dude! Some mods have already begun - TRD front skid, all-weather mats, Pop N Lock. Got a TRD exhaust and TX wheels on the way. Been looking waaaaay too hard at the TRD supercharger

Never heard of a console vault tho. Let's see what the google has to say...

Really tried to tell myself that the Taco wouldn't be a "build" (got enough mod money in the JK as it is), but I've spent the last hour or so looking at 3" lifts

Hey fellas. I have been considering getting rid of the taco for a gmc Sierra 1500 crew cab. Need more room! Besides the obvious have you heard anything bad about them?
