That's more wishful thinking on my part. Obviously everybody gets a "fair trial", it's just that he doesn't deserve one. :p

He does...it's just a waste of time. Like media keep referring to him as "alleged" shooter.

Kind of a conflicting statement. To say something is deserved, but a waste of time in the same sentence..? Thinking like that helps add to what keeps things stagnant and ineffective. We should not be ok with an obvious waste of everyones time just to go through the motions. We should adopt new laws that display actions and responses that are to the point and effective.
Like maybe if there are 25 wounded witnesses we can just kill the fucker.

How sick would the lawyer dedicated to giving him that "fair:thumbsup:trial" have to be to defend him?

But i guess its no different than how most of the nation wakes up and goes to work to just go through the motions and have jobs not believing in or giving a fuck about what their doing or perpetuating.

He'll probably get a public defender. Regardless, his defense is obligated to provide him their best. Even if they know he's guilty.

I'm not standing up for the guy, I was pointing out the hypocrisy of those who would talk about constitutional rights to bear arms, and only a facist would question them, then turn around and suggest that another constitutional right is easily ignored. Even suggested that I'd be okay with "something" happening to him while in custody. I could type slower for you if you're having a hard time keeping up.

And it's situations like this that kept me from applying for law school. If someone is guilty of a crime, I don't believe I could defend someone by looking for a technicality to get him off.

"He does...it's just a waste of time" Just not your time, right? You didnt want to be a lawyer, but this guy definitely deserves for someone to be his lawyer to preserve a "jokers" right.. right? I can't feel good about it... fuck it, let some other person without a conscience do it, because this guy has rights.

    Good job winner :sandwich:

Oh, wait...ya threw an edit in there!

My point was, it's a for gone conclusion that he comitted the crime. But I'm still not sure what you're trying to point out by saying my time, since you'd rather forgo a trial and just execute him...maybe you should do dome more editing, you still aren't making much sense.

He deserves legal representation to try and prove a mental disorder so he does not get death penalty... noone is trying to prove him innocent, not even a public defender.

There you go, that's a little better.

Still pretty stupid, but a little more in-depth.

I don't feel good that someone can get off based on a technicallity. I couldn't in good conscience, knowing somene comitted a heinous act, look for a way for them to walk a free person. Therefore, I would either be unable to defend them fairly, or would spend my days tortured that the justice a victim was seeking was not acheived by the fact a person received a fair trial. That, and the fact I had other career choices to choose from led me to not be a lawyer.

If that earns me a sammich, yay for me!

But you still choose to bring up that someone must do it. Because of rules.
