They're 285/75/16's. i have a leveling kit on it but i had to cut out the inner fenders when i got it to keep them from rubbing when I hit a bump with the wheels turned. i love em but they are a tight fit haha

    Thanks man :D

I didn't wanna leave it in gear too long to dry even with the tires chocked so I quickly shifted it back into park after it was dry enough to touch. Left a thumb print :p Sooooo... I added a couple more on purpose so it looks like a design

The part of the button on the inside of the brown thing and a plastic piece in the actual shifter weren't meeting correctly causing the button to stick/not fully push down.

So I had to pull the whole brown thing off trying hard not to rip the O/D wires out and just had to adjust that plastic piece so it would accept the button pushing down thingy inside.

Boy was I relieved. Also thankful that a Toyota Service rep didn't answer the phone after holding for 15 minutes :p

I am working on removing my diffs right now. I went to drain the rear diff and the fluid was really dark and there's a very thick, silver colored 'paste' on the surface of the diff drainage plug. I assume this is metal particles. Anyone know what's going on?

Nice. Was up there a couple of weeks ago. Here's my brutally long post about it:

    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/1s...ma-today-1st-gen-edition-898.html#post5318182

In that second pic of yours, there was a broken down Land Cruiser shoved off to the right (as you're headed down) just beyond that obstacle. So where you, and I, would go around that rock (pictured in your post), I had to go over it/around it to the left. I was so pissed a dumbass would leave their truck in the worst spot possible. If I wasn't in a rush to get down I would have dragged the truck about 15 feet down the trail.

yeah. i saw that. luckily there was only the stripped down isuzu at the beginning of the trail. that would be a pain if that cruiser was there. still fun never the less though i'm sure.

Is it paste? Or shavings. Should be able to tell the difference. It could be antiseize.
