Within reasonable rim widths (up to 8") you'll be good with anything in the +40 range. That's only sticking out (and in) an inch more than stock, inch and a half at +34mm offset.

Do pay attention... you need a positive offset. Negative offset moves the wheel out.

Go back to page 1... I edited the last post while you were replying.

Thanks alot Rich. You taught me alot! So a 6.5-7" rim with an offset of 40+ should really work nice and keep the distances relativly close to stock with a 235 tire... +Rep
    You know your shit

I think that would work fine.

Personally I'm looking at moving up to 17" wheels and am looking at 17x8 +42 in a couple of different styles.
Really thinking about the MB Phantom. It's a 10-spoke, but 5 of them are black and 5 are machined.

My truck is superwhite so the black should be real nice on mine and your truck. My tires are BRAND NEW General Grabbers a/t so the rims are gonna stay the same size which is why I was asking for your help with the conversions. The wheel that epa4wd suggested is pretty much the exact size I need and it is a nice setup, but I wanted to make sure before I committed to ANTHING.

Ya... tires are a sore spot with me.
I bought the truck last December and ONE tire has low tread and will need to be replaced long before the other 3.

I would go with +30mm to have the wheels sit close to being flush with the fender (looks better IMO).

My wheels are +30mm and tire diameter close to a 235/75/15. Wheels are pretty much flush with the fenders

Not likely a rotation issue. There's well under 50% tread on the right rear compared to the other 3.
I'd have to check, I think it's the same brand/type, but I'm betting the date codes don't match.

TPMS has not worked from the day I got it, but all 5 TPMS units are in the rims. I'm betting that this one rim was inadvertently swapped with another Tacoma. I got it from a Chevy dealer, but he normally keeps a few Toyotas on his used lot. This is actually the 2nd Toyota that I've bought from him!

The tpms keeps throwing that tire because of the rim... If you like the type of tire I would date match like you said and if different just replace.

Haven't had it scanned... I don't know which sensor is working and which is not (if any of them).
I have 5 steel wheels and 5 TPMS sensors, all are at 35psi. It shouldn't throw a light.

But when I go to alloys I'll be replacing 4 of the 5 sensors anyways, so all I need is one of the 5 to work and Discount will be able to reprogram.

Yikes... $1700 total for tires, wheels, TPMS, and lugs.

Ya that's what I was looking for. Your recommendation seems to be in first. I've searched a shit load of rims and I like the style/dimensions the most
