    The PO had the green stuff in there.... going to switch to the pink stuff.
    Can i just open the drain, drain, and refill? or do I have to get it flushed?

    I recommend using a hose and flushing it out but be mindful that that shit is toxic and kills wildlife.

    Fill till it cant hold anymore, start truck let it run for a few mins till it gets hot and opens valves.. then shut off and top off.

    Check coolant levels after a drive and you should be good.

    I wouldn't use a hose. Distilled water only for flushing or mixing.
    Contaminants from tap water is what shortens the life of coolent.

    You won't be able to flush the block unless you remove the thermostat or get the engine hot enough to open the thermostat.

    Fill until the rad is full. Then start the engine and run the heater on high till you get hot air. Then shut off and top it up as needed. Careful opening the rad cap

    I usually top off, turn on engine, then pump one of the hoses. You don't always need to do that but you can get air bubbles causing it to over heat.
