Locke my keys in truck with no spare

Like the title says locked keys inside and need help opening door without key

 

Ummm a locksmith?

 

Call a locksmith. He will use a plastic coated pry bar to open a space between the door & roof, then lower a L shaped metal rod into the truck to manipulate the lock button. That will be $65. please. I don't have to tell you to have a spare key made ASAP.
I've done this before (several times) so now I always lock the door with the key.

 

I did this a few weeks ago. I called AAA roadside service. He used a hand-pump, rubber wedge, and a 3' wand to open my door. Zero damage, was inside in about 10 minutes.

 

Yeah - Popsalock or whatever. 10 mins and you're set.

 

No damage as long as you don't do it often. After a while it'll tweak the door...

sliding rear window is so easy to get into

 

I agree break the sliding rear window bracket its cheaper and faster than a locksmith

 

I tried putting a knife in the back but couldnt open it and I do have a key I put it in my wallet but I left that to locked in my truck

No problem if u have to put a knife or something in the crack of the window and then pry back the rubber piece that seals the back window and then stick a small screw driver and press the lock or plastic piece and it should come right over and then u wont even break the bracket

 

If you lock the keys in your truck that often I would invest in something that would help you out of a bind.

 

Of course! That goes without saying... Repeatedly forcing your way into a vehicle or anything else for that matter, is bound to have consequences.

To avoid this in the future check with your Toyota dealership and ask if they can make you a credit card key. Mine contacted me after the purchase and made one at no charge. It's a wallet size plastic key that will only open the door...won't start the truck.

 

Hide a magnetic box under the truck somewhere, or a hitch safe. Get a regular metal key cut, its sole purpose is to open the door. Not start the truck.

 

i thought it was almost impossible to lock your keys in these trucks?
