I'm aware, and still made a mistake  You're obviously not illiterate like most of the people I encounter. That's awesome! Stating that rap could be part of the cause was one of two things; in most of those songs poor grammar is used so I was making that connection, and "rap sucks" is simply my opinion, I don't expect everyone to have the same opinion. I also don't like XD wheels or short bed pickups :D (see how I tied this offshoot back to short box vs long box ;) )

The ones that buy the shortbox are probably the same ones that make the bad mileage threads, should have bought a car.

The ones that buy the shorted are probably the ones who didn't need a long bed and needed room for kids or something.

Or who do everything for looks rather than function and liked it best. . .

I bought the shortbed because the only DCs I could find had auto's, and I wanted a 6 speed, and didn't realize just how short the shortbed was until it showed up at my house. And since I build websites for a living and the only thing I haul on a regular basis is my mountain bike, I wasn't overly concerned.

I'd say the majority of people who buy Tacoma's not only don't "need" a long bed, but don't need a truck. I know around here there are an awful lot of Tacomas driving around that I never see carrying anything in the bed.

Your bed is full of a mystical made up substance often had by insecure men who like to talk themselves up? Haha

I wish Toyota would come out with a 20 foot bed so I could say it was more awesome/manlier/more useful/better-in-every-way-than-a-shorter-bed than OZ's "DCLB FTMFW"...
