now im not trying to put you on the same level its just an example. but there are some people believe that the earth is still flat and to them that is truth. They are wrong but to them its truth.

You believe there is no God. I believe there is. One of us is wrong and the other is right. based on what we see as truth. but there is a truth

Kind of funny how the results are split right down the middle. Guess it depends on what the question refers to. Scientifically, there is no such thing as a total correct answer. The same is true in mathematics ( No such thing as absolute zero or a number that represents the largest number) So from that standpoint, there is no absolute truth.

But in regards to whether people can change, I'd say definitely.

    Duct tape.

I am not saying there is a god per se, I am also not going to say there isn't one. I am agnostic by choice. I also agree there is a truth. But just because there is a truth, does that make it absolute?

Everyone has a 'Superior Being' (for the lack of a better description) that they believe in - or atleast, they should.

That doesn't necessarily mean you believe in the same GOD as anyone else - and it doesn't mean you have to.

I never grew up in the (or a) church, so I have my own believe of what GOD is.

FWIW, My Wife said, "No", and I agree.
Nobody is going to view anything the same way. Take any 3 people, looking at the same thing, and they will see it differently. "Truth for one person may be different from "Truth" from another person......

NOW, enough of this and lets get back to the regularly scheduald program........:)

I was going to try to post something intelligent, but now my head hurts from thinking, and I need a drink.

    Snorkle.

This may take me a few days if my head ever stops hurting every time I try to think about the phenomenal amount of variables inherent in this question.

Just because 3 people see or have a different idea of what truth is. doesnt mean that there isnt an absolute truth and one or all of those 3 people are wrong if there belief is not the same as the absolute truth.

    Hmm, brain fart....

    Absolute Truth = Absolute Correctness

Absolute Correctness = being absolutely RIGHT.

Everyone thinks they're RIGHT - nobody wants to admit to being wrong. :D

If your right then I am wrong (admission) which contradicts your statement which absolves absolution which refutes there is absolute truth..........

Damn, my brain just jumped out of my head and is hiding in the corner.
