Finally got all my parts in, I installed my Premier deck tonight with the use of the Scosche single DIN dash kit, and the Scosche JBL wiring harness. Was happy when I installed and it immediately worked. Very very straight forward installation, and was done within a half hour. I can control the bass soo much better with this aftermarket deck, plus I can actually pump a little more power through it. Sounds GREAT! Eventually I will upgrade to a new subwoofer, but for now this does the trick for me! Now I just need to find an adapter so I can rig up my steering wheel controls. Oh and get a 3.5mm audio cord so I can hook the Zune up! For you guys with the JBL system, so far I'm highly recommending this! I'll keep this thread posted in a couple days as to if I have any issues with the stock amp.

I've never owned anything else when it comes to head units. Firm believer in them, with the 5 band (with Q) equalizer, I can make it sound anyway I like!

Yeah thats part of the scosche kit, I'd like to line it with some rubber on the bottom though, otherwise whatever I put in it is going to be sliding around on every corner.

    Found my first glitch:

Guessing the Scosche harness diagram is off, my fader controls are 90 degrees out. Moving the fader to the rear makes it go right. :( Gonna have to fix it someday, not that big of a deal for now.
I think my RCA's on the deck need some cleaning as well, it seems to fade in an out on various sides occasionally, definitely not related to amplifier power. Its hardly noticable though. My deck is 4 years old, could use a little love.

    stock (for now)
should be noted that the only difference between pioneer's premier line and their standard equipment (as far as receivers go) is a one year warranty for the standard models vs a 2 year warranty for the premier line. as far as i know, they come off the same assembly line. it sounds like you got your fwd right wired to your rear left and vice verse for the other side.

Most definitely right.... like I said, scosche's diagram must have been off. I followed it to a tee. Its just RCA plugs-No biggy though.
