No bypass at this one spot. Once you're in the canyon, you're pretty much committed. Tight squeeze and a 90 degree right turn while you climb straight up. You can clear the right side if you place your wheels just right. I think 1 truck made it through without slider contact. I used my entire right slider to make the turn :0

Like Brandon said, Appetizer and Tax Collector. We think so. If you go, you are probably more familiar with this than any of us. It seems like there is plenty more out there.

Ya, and this particular one had no business being out there. But I dont think he realized what we were going to be getting into. Either way he didn't get to see it since he broke before we even got into anything.

This is Staticsquelch's (Steve's) back yard, and I've been out there a few times. Tax Collector was a new one for me, but Steve and I have run most of the remaining areas except for the overly technical stuff which we didn't even know existed. Some fun stuff out there for sure.

I'm out of town on business through Thursday night and Friday night I have plans with the family, so don't expect me there. As much as I'd like to tear a few more cleats off my KM2's, I'm trying to make them last through the summer.

We should go up to Jerome one of these weekends and do the Smiley Rock trail. Looks interesting. That could be a Saturday thing.

I already have my sites set on a new set of KM2's with a full size spare, plus a bunch of overdue basic maintenance like diff fluid changes, tranny fluid, coolant, etc. After that's all done, I'm ready to hit up some good trails again and not worry about blowing out a tire in a vulnerable spot and only having a stock spare. I'd like to do the Crown King run again before winter, and some of those tougher trails at White Tanks before they decide to close the area off.

I'd like to explore the white tanks more as well for the same reason. I'm sick of crown king for the time being tho! haha. I'd run it again when there's some snow since I've never done that.

There's a few out east I'd like to do again, Reno pass, Devils Pass, Martinez cabins, sunflower mine. I wish Trail 42 would open again one day that was such a fun trail!

Heck I'd really like to find some good stuff in Flag as well I've never wheeled up there. I think it would be awesome to wheel in the pines! :D

Hey Guys, If you don't mind me asking what area is the white tank trails at? I am in the process of building up my truck so if the trail is that tough I would be able to run it yet but would like to see the area.

    Thanks
    John

And by the way Hi from Peoria.

    Hi John!

The white tanks are to the west of the valley. Basically take I-10 and exit Watson Rd. turn right (north) and you are at the base of the white tanks.

Some of the areas are closed off but they are marked. There is still alot of land to explore. Everything from mild to wild. Help out by always packing out what you bring in and grab extra trash less responsible people leave behind :)

If you have 4x4 and at least sliders I'd say join us!
