I love watching ski movies and I love riding with skiiers. It's so cool to see skiers and boarders use the same terrain in a totally different way.

best friend got a sick ass rome board and bindings yesterday, for a sick ass price. board and binds for i think $340 or so don’t remember. should have been over $600. i think board should be close to $400. i know bindings should have been 280.

 

i’m use to snow falling at 31 degrees. lol. about all ober is, is ice. lol. unless they are making it. but most the time they don’t make it during the day.

 

Who out there is still shredding in July? I am lucky enough to live in the PNW and am still able to find turns. I just brought one of my boards in to get split so I am pretty stoked! Post up any summer trips you guys have been on or any teasers for this coming season!

not yet. but it’s kinda close to family in NY. i’m trying to plain a trip up this winter and ride their. i just ride ober. going to go to sugar as well this winter.

 

gotcha...i'm from central NY but have tons of friends from western NY who ride/rode holiday valley..

 

oh nice! my mom is from Eden, got family in eden/east eden, boston hamburg. i went up last august and stuff and went to the erie county fair. we go up about once a year or so. it’s a good 11.5 hour drive. but i love going up.

 

what kinda layers do you guys wear?

me it’s under armer top and bottoms. i also use that for hunting. but than depending on the temp. i’ll wear sweats or guy type shorts and than the volcom metro pants. top i wear volcom thermal shirt i have from pac sun. i have some that are not volcom. and sometimes a light hoody and than north face jacket. hope to get new jacket this year. one that will tie in to the pants.

 

PJ bottoms t shirt ski socks. Ronin board pants and. Canadian Ski Patrol jacket made by avalanche.

 

i need to get a good pair of socks. also need gloves.

good set of snowboard socks, underarmor cold gear lower, northface breathable t-shirt topped with a north face long sleeve...normal under gear for me...

key for me is to find something that keeps you warm, yet if the sun stays out, it's breathable enough to keep you from keeping the sweat in..

gloves= cloudveil troller glove..these look and feel good..they have been excellent in the bitter cold and even warm days..got them cheap on steep and cheep



gotta keep an eye out for a good deal on new pants this year though...my burtons are about ready to throw the towel in
