Good on Nash for keeping Weber. I like that team, they have a small but very supportive fan base. Their Nov game vs the Pens this yr had a playoff feel to it. Fans on their feet for the 3rd. They draft well too.

Flyers will go after B Ryan or Semin now. They have been burned this off season. ITs hard to believe the Rangers still have the space to get Doan. I hope they do, I dont want him on the Pens. I always thought he was overrated. Anyone else suprised the Wings haven't added more pieces?

 

Doan's an overrated POS. Don't see why everyone thinks he's classy either... he mouths off at the refs like a butthurt bitch after losing a series, and then weeks later apologizes and now he's a classy guy? I think Penguins should get Semin and Doan to put him with Crosby to make the bitchiest line in the league, second only to the Burrows Kesler line in Van.

Bobby Ryan should go to Flyers, I think he'd fit there. But Philly needs a goalie more than anything.

Doan put up 70 pts twice and that was like 5 yrs ago, hes got 3 yrs left tops and hes not good enough to be dragging this on. Semin has shit tons of talent, but 0 heart. Do not want on the Pens.

There's been rumors that Krejci and picks for Ryan was being discussed but was dependent on moving TT. Prob just hockey writers looking for page views during the summer. Chia and Julien both said during Julien's extension press conference today.

 

the pens need some help especially on the defensive side. I dont see them finding the help they need in whats left of the free agents this year. I would love if they could dump martin on someone. I really dont like that guy. I say give some of the AHL boys a crack at it this year they do have some talent on the baby pens. Though Im not entirely sure they are nhl ready. I wish fleury could deliver the goods in the playoffs again but they did leave him hanging out to dry quite a bit. But some of the soft goals he let in just dont make sense. I know they brought in a backup that could fill in during the regular season a bit more giving fleury a break but Im still not sure if that will work.
