I'm trying to learn a bit about them cause I'd like to get one for offroading. I've been to a few meets around here and it seems that the groups get big, then get split up, then meet back up later using the CB.

I want to get something small, maybe mount in the console with a minimal antenna.

I've always had one in my truck until recently.... Now that I have the scosche din, I may just install one again. They're handy, ESPECIALLY for cross country trips, the long haul guys can keep you updated as to where to avoid... (cops, traffic jams, accidents)

I have the same model in my truck I mounted it to the right of the cupholder just like socalman22 did. I like it alot its inexpensive and for my first cb it was very to install.

    I use one for off-roading.

Mounted between drivers seat and center console.

They are great for offroad and highway drivin. Helps out a lot cause the truckers let you know where the cops are and for offroading its a great way to keep in contact when out of sight and also like another set of eyes to help watch when offroading.
