I cut those wires ran them through the small ass hole that's already there then soldered them back together . I didn't want any extra holes in the housing . But either way works .

 

You have any pics and how far up into NH are you

 

I put the actuator wires through the hole for the halogen bulb shield. I wasn't sure if Mike's motorcycle had a similar set up though.

 

Nope, I'll have to drill a hole or notch the bulb hole for the wires. It's not a huge issue for me, I rarely ride in the rain and it's stored in a garage.

Not after spending an extra $100 to get the bolt ons.

 

Make sure you use lots of cutting oil when drilling the rear part of the frame. It is double plated around where the cab ends.

 

Just talked to deb she will be here before 6 so I'll bring her . We can make her do all the dirty work . Do you need any tools ? What size are the bolts? 3/8 ? I have a few bits left .

 

MY switches for in cab winch controls were in providence at 1:12 AM this morning. What are the chances I get them today?

 

Not sure the size of the bolts but I bought a few different size bits to step up the size of the holes. If you have any extra bits please bring them along though (cant hurt). I have cutting oil so were all set there. No other tools should be needed I think I have them all covered.

 

Do you have a corded drill? Drilling the frame will kill the batteries on a cordless.

 

I borrowed a hammer drill from work but somethings wrong with it. I used a very old craftsman with a cord last night. It's a POS but at least when the bit gets caught it doesn't break your wrist.

 

I have a heavy duty Milwaukee corded . I'll bring that and bits .
