OK then, but damn thats the simplest of maintenance tasks, if one can't even do that, I would hate to see what they spend maintaining the rest of the truck

hahaha And I dont have the tools or workspace to change it on my own anyways.

I am def thinking 33's and 4.56 gears.

I just got the 32's in feb so.. gotta trade them in i guess.. go go warranty at discount. :)

As far as me lurking in here and not being LT, well its not that different and I plan to someday at least LT the rear. :)

I live in a condo with an HOA that wont even let us wash our cars here.

And Why would I not want to help a local business with some work?

After being on TW since 2009 that surprises you? Some people prefer to have other people do the work on their truck rather than drain their transmission fluid while doing an oil change and fill up their radiator fluid with tranny fluid. Other people don't have garages or an eclectic collection of tools.

yep it really happened!! to his defense... its alot easier to drain the tranny fluid than the engine oil than you think.... especially on newer toyotas....
    i accidentally did it sunday:(
but i caught myself before i did major damage haha

I guess to answer your question, yeah I am kinda surprised. I wouldnt be for TW in general, but I thought this section of the forum was mainly DIYers.

I usually troll pirate and hang over there or ttora, but I have so much time to kill at work that I am here almost just as much.

And garages are a luxury, and tools should be bought as needed instead of paying someone else to do the work. IMHO

And you see a LOT of those. I cant believe how many people bail halfway through a build. I fear for people that cant plan something out like that and just start doing stuff before they fully understand what the costs are
