BECAUSE FENDER FLARE!

I plan to see if I can have them reproduced....
If it is a viable option and cost effective I may offer flares as well as Satoshi grills.

 

Sign me up. I will get flares and a Raptor style grill. Sweet!

 

Well, IMO that is the best way to make a capable Offroad vehicle. Big tires, low center of gravity. Nice work! You have some real skills!!! Sell that idea and bank cash!

Just to note - Once I saw the 295's mounted I realized that a 305 would fit easily with no further modification... These tires don't even come close to touching anything but the ground!

Since this is still my DD I did not go that route.....

For my own build, I think with a different wheel - like Max's steelies - and a BL that a 35" tire would fit no problem...

 

Both of us (Max & Max) are running the steelies and 35's. Currently neither of us have BL. With the 3" I have cut out I don't need one, but with Max's (American) he rubs ever so slightly with the 2" so depending on how your suspension cycle you might get away without a BL

I'd definitely consider regearing before stepping it up to 35's though, as the lack of bottom end power would probably drive you insane.

 

Regearing with ARB lockers is coming this fall...

Looks great Craig! Did you end up doing anything to change how it mounts so it re-used the stock mount holes?

 

The flares mount with the bolts through the flare in the "pockets" making them not just for "show" but actually functional.

Forgive me if its "proprietary" info, but what technique/product(s) are you using to bond the flare back together so well without any visible seams? Awesome work, I am putting this on the mile long "mod list" for my Taco

 

i can tell you if you do offer this as a service i'll be one of the first people getting it done. this was a great idea i hope you can figure out a way to reproduce this for the rest of us.

my regular cab is running 295's and i'm rubbing like crazy on my flares lol i'm actually surprised they are still on the truck
