I have a 3 foot cable that goes with the meter, yes.

As for cooking, bring a small bag of charcoal. Even with a burn ban you are allowed to use the charcoal grills . the burn ban is no "open fires" meaning no fires that are not in an enclosed container. BBQ grills are allowable. As I had suggested before, you should bring your own food, just in case someone has to cancel at the last second. I will be bringing a few things and we can all cook on the 3 grills located around the sites. I have set us up with 3 adjoining sites, and they said we can set up camp in the morning when we arrive. Has everyone downloaded and filled out a waiver form? PLEASE LET ME KNOW. Even if you are a passenger, you must have a waiver form filled out and signed.
Stoney has told me that they are looking forward to meeting us and having our club at their park. Make sure we leave them with a good impression.

If you have already been once, they have you on file. They also make you watch a required 5 minute video about preservation of nature while offroading (its pretty stupid actually).

I will have to call them to see if the camp RV sites have a fire pit. I will let you know.

OK, just got off the phone with them. Some RV sites have fire pits, others don't, but she said feel free to make one. So out of curiosity, does anyone have any rocks that they could bring to help make a fire pit?

Lets meet at the petrol right off exit 299 (aaron and travis know where this is). Big parking lot, good for getting gas, snacks, etc.

I have no idea about dogs. Might not be allowed since there are usually people riding horses on the horse trails there.

I think i remember reading something about no pets.

So where are we meeting at then? We need this locked down so that I know when to leave. It is a bit of a drive just to get there to the meeting place. Exit 299 is WAY the fuck up there. If we are meeting there I would have to leave at 4 just to get there by 7! I was thinking Gardendale or Fultondale to meet up with the B-ham group.

and how long will it take you to get to exit 299? This is turning out to be pretty friggin early. I promise we will be able to do all the trails in one day. We did it last time (the trails we cared to do. Beginner trails aren't really worth it, too easy and wayyyyy to narrow. Scratch stuff up like crazy). we started at like 1030-11 last time too.

it should only take bout 20 mins to get to 299 from fultondale. that is if you drive the speed limit but if the trailor queens are leading the way it will prob be more like an hour and a half to two hours HA!!!!!!!!!!

Paul, you know that petrol pretty well if I am thinking of the same place.

And the beginner trails suck. Especially for a longbed. You could drive a plastic wheeled Barbie jeep on them and not worry about getting stuck. But it would still end up getting scratched.
