I need power!

What are some things that I can do to make my engine run better and faster? I have a gibson exhaust and a volant cold air intake. what are some good spark plugs, or other things that i can add? headers?

 

well yeah you can add headers maybe a y pipe and a tune will give you some gains, more so in the higher rpm however. Real power is in forced induction.

 

I have been doing some looking around for spark plugs, and i came across these: pulstar pulse plug dg-1 Haven't tried them yet but they claim better power and mpg (you can really only know if you've tried them). I do plan on getting the as soon as i can afford it, seeing as how they're 25 bucks per.

How do you like your gibson? I am looking for something with a little bit of a growl, but only slightly louder than stock, and not hollow sounding.

 

I just got headers waiting to install. DITCH THE COLD AIR INTAKE. They don't do shit for the 2.7L. Just remove the secondary filter and install a drop in high flow filter

Shit since you are a 1st gen do the deckplate mod. It outperforms CAIs for a percentage of the price

 

I like it..adds a little power. really quiet in the cab. but my cab is no longer quiet after i got my intake..

 

ahhh too late i already got the cold air. it helps me out more than my stock because i bought it used and the previous owner.. i dont know what the fuck he was doing... so im fixing his mistakes :[ runs better though now after i fixed it up a bit

 

Well i just got the DT tri y headers and am expecting great things from them haha

 

I was thinking about getting DT Headers next... Still not sure if its worth it. If im ganna much gains out of it, becides the sound. I got the Gibson exhaust too, and love it! it sounds soo good with the CAI.

 

I agree with the deckplate; just cut a 4" hole and got instant results for free!
