Hey guys. I have a 2012 dcsb sport. Is there anything that can be done to make truck better at stopping. Brakes are squishy and I have locked it up at least 5 times on highway. Is this a known problem with Tacomas?

Brakes are solid on my truck. I do notice that there's a little driver learning curve because they are very sensitive. Stomping on the brakes will lock them up pretty quick because they are so sensitive. I've locked up mine a few times because I stomped them harder than I needed to.

What I mean by lock is ABS will kick in.

    Same here.

And the "lock up" everyone is describing. I dont it 2x driving mine home from the dealership, it scared the hell outta me. LOL Its not really a HARD lock up either, but if you hit the brakes a tad to quick it will make the back brakes feel locked and the wheels "chirp" and the ABS kicks in.

    Just my 2 cents worth

X2. SS Lines require less pedal push because the lines do not expand like stock brake lines do. Locking up should not be happening though since it is equipped with AB-Sizzle:D
