What are the specs on the Tacoma he's trading?

 

Go to truecar.com, it's easy to navigate the site, build the truck you want, they'll show you what is a reasonable deal. It's accurate.

Edmunds.com and Kelley.com are pretty accurate also for dealer invoice, but harder to navigate through their websites.

 

if you have a toyota vehical to trade in, trade it in to the dealer, you will get ALOT more for it, i traded in two toyota vehicals when i got my 2012 taco

 

yes id like to know that as well, as well as the specs on the new one. and he can even make an offer on his trade and negotiate it. cause its a toyota vehicle, and if its well maintained with service records and OEM toyota parts he can get ALOT for it.

The vehicle i have in mind to trade is a 2011 4x2 TRD Sport DCLB tacoma w/ just over 30k miles. Dealer #3 (cabe) already gave me an estimated appraisal of 22k i think. They told me to go to Carmax to get a higher quote....

Im looking forthe same thing pretty much but 2012 4x4 DCLB tacoma TRD Sport. they are adding the door sill protectors, DTRL and the carpet

keep in mind i may have higher sales tax kuz californiiia.....everything will be put into its stock form.... in fact, i will be taking the aftermarket items and putting it on the 2012..... i still have my stock parts

 

why dont you keep your truck you have now?? you have a good truck, its like 1 year old, what is wrong with it lol?? just asking, im just trying to be an ass or anything lol.. but after looking, in all honestly, you are getting a good deal, if you can get out the door after taxes for 32,000 ish thats a good and fair deal on that truck particular truck from where i am standing hope that helps

 

if i can get a good reasonable price for a new 2012 4x4, i'll shoot for it.....i wanna have the 4x4 option...i'll be "complete" and wont have to worry about another vehicle or such until it dies..... its one of those things where i would like to have a 4x4 in sticky situations.. yuou'll never know.. its better to have than to regret later... ive been in a few sticky situations already... and id like to be able to get out of it myself vice having a 4x4 pull me out... especially if im out in the middle of no where camping/fishing....

With a vehicle at the trade price I would def trade it in. 22,000 x 7% will save you like $1500 on sales tax. Not too shabby. Good luck with the purchase!

I would negotiate the price and trade first. I paid $29,900 before taxes on a OR DCSB auto 4x4 with tow and drl. That was last day of the month and $400 below invoice. Fair deal I think.

Your current trade in selling for $23-24k auction, somewhere in that range is fair. In this case you'd only pay sales tax on roughly $6,000 instead of $30ish.

Taxes and everything will fall into place once you negotiate the prices on the new truck and trade in.

wondering if i could talk to someone about the appraisal and then once that is complete talk to the internet sales person who gave me $33719.83.. then apply the appraisal money and get it a better savings?

 

oh well yes, i do here you on the 4x4 option for sure, and yes i like the redesigned front ends on the 2012's, thats my fav part about my truck lol, but yeah its a decent price, but i think u can do alittle better, see if u can get them to wave all or part of the delivery fee which is $800.00 ... and thats a perfect price.. try... but if not... and u want it real bad lol, just take that offer.

 

after thinking about it and researching a bit more.. 32 or 32.5 is possibly rare or very hard to get... but like you said waive the delivery fee and what not.. and i think 33k is very good.... if i can get 32.5 Im happy.. im shooting for 32.5

 

i paid less then that out the door for my 08 DC shortbed 4x4 with sport package.. Haggle with them or just tell them straight out what your gonna pay and walk out

 

sounds good bro! and yes ask them about the delivery fee and the security etching for the windows too, see if they can waive that too, one or the other or both, just try that, u might have some luch with that

 

what dealer are you going to ? Longo? talk to the fleet manager. Just know what the average market price for a truck with the same specs is going for, make them a reasonable offer and let them work for their money

oh i dont remember, but its 7% tax here in new jersey lol but idk what it is where this fella is buying his truck lol
