Haha too true. Think I'm gonna go with some 5100s to level out the front first.

Thanks to everyone for the welcome. From the looks of things I'm gonna be spending the kids college fund on my truck!

I have a question though. I'm putting BFG ATs 265/70/17 on my truck next week. After that I'm gonna install biltstein 5100s on the front set at 2.5".
Will the front be noticeably higher than the back with this set-up?

I plan to do an AAL to the back and put on 5100s there too but not right away. If I plan on putting a shell on the back what size leaf spring should I add to the back to keep the back just a ball hair higher than the front with the shell on. I like just a little rake.

any input would be appreciated. photos are great! thanks in advance

Probably best bet would be a Deaver leaf pack with that shell but an AAL would be fine too.
And welcome, so is Krokus a metal band reference?

funny story. I use to be a singer in a punk band and my buddy from south africa said sounded like a frog croaking. So he called me krokus one day at a party and all my bros heard it. So ive been stuck with it since. I've tried to embrace it so it hurts less.

So what kind of AAL should I do? are there different sizes, lengths. I know i could search all this stuff up but thought id ask anyway.

Here is a photo of my truck with OME884x coils up front and stock rear. I didn't measure the difference but it was nose high. The 884's typically add 2" to a 4x4 DC

Heres what I got when I added an Icon Progressive 3 leaf AAL and left the overload in.

    2012-07-26170227_fa107eabc4ca57935bed3395cff08bdc10fcf350.jpg

It looks close to level in the photo but it is higher in the rear.

PS I am very happy with the ride quality and am glad I spent the extra money for the OME coil and OME shock.

thanks for the info and pics. thats a real nice height that your truck is sitting at. I'm on a real tight budget after just buying the truck so i think i have to go with the adjustable 5100s set at 2.5
after seeing your pics i think ill be ok with the front lifted for a while before i do the rear. thanks!

Keep in mind that 2.5" of lift may lead you to new UCA's to get the alignment right. That was part of my reasoning for the 2" ome884's.
