a little far. I'm in the ranho cucamonga ontario upland area. If you want a lift there are a grip of shops out here. i probably stopped by 5+ shops to get quotes and got tired so i just went to a known one Gary's sport truck. this place called The Pirate Lab has just also opened. It is in Chino. But yah just drive around here and YOU ARE BOUND to see lifted trucks.. rancho is pretty much where the lifted trucks are at. ahah

I am not sure if they have sites. The best way to find out is to google it. (ex. Gary's Sport Truck Ontario, CA). Most of the time though most places do not have websites. I don't have my lift on yet, but I'm getting it done this wed. ITs a 3" Fabtech lift kit. I usually just go on the sites of the companys because they usually have pictures.

ya know, on our gen tacos, you lose your front crossmember with that lift... if you ever want to do some good ole so cal wheeling, you are going to hate that lift...

but if keeping it a street cruiser, then its all good...

whats the extent of your offroading?

on a 4x4, a drop bracket isn't too bad as its a bit slower pace, athough many will say the bracket gets hung up on rocks... being a prerunner in so cal, your general wheeling options are deserts and mountain fire roads...

personally, i would suggest you start with a mild mid-travel coilover lift first...

i know a couple folks who went with drop bracket lifts, and ended up with issues later down the road when they took their trucks offroad...

word... when i upgraded, i sold my donahoes for $400, and the buyer got them rebuilt at Icon for $120... he came out with near new $1,100 coilovers for $520...

there are always folks upgrading their suspensions... buy a set of used higher end coilovers, get them rebuilt, and you get the best possible value...

If you really want to go that high, but want something that will survive offroad, look into biting the bullet and going LT...

you can get your front end done for under $4,000 and your rear for under $1,000 brand new... if you go used, you can cut that price down considerably...

it would be a cheap way to lift, but you will likely regret it later if you get into wheeling later...

also remember, if you lift it pretty high, you will end up wanting to get into bigger tires to fill in the gap, and want to get into some lower backspace wheels to adjust to the change in your center of gravity...

then, bigger tires will lead to regearing issues...

it's going to be one heck of a money pit...
