I wasn't directly involved, but as I recall we had a little run in with the Vegas guys, and some trash talking ensued in the Texas thread. Things escalated, several Texas members were permabanned, and then eventually the entire thread was deleted. At the time it was the third largest thread on the site, behind the garage and TW live.

We went on without a BS thread for about a year or so I guess, and then Adam made this one.

The banned TX members formed TOR (toyotaoff-road.com).

Someone who remembers better than me please chime in with any corrections.

MOT got butthurt because they were making fun of his mall Crawler. Hilarity ensued. Texas was banned.

You forgot to mention how the mods suck, and no one on this site can take a joke. They do get "butt-hurt" way too easily. It's like elementary school sometimes in this place. Someone gets upset or "hurt", they go crying to the teacher. Then the wrong person usually gets time out.

I think this site is a sign of whats to come for this country. You get punished for speaking your mind.

I know, then why am I around? Cause it's fun.

Oh yeah I remember that. Blake was gone for a couple of weeks IIRC
That incident was with Vegas, not CA. And there has been so much turnover that very few of the folks that were in the argument are left on either side. But Brian's still here!

I'm still around because I don't cuss and say I wanna fight people. Sure I've got in trouble from the mods a few times, but they keep me around.

Yep, that guy. Same douche that would bump his own "build" thread every day.

Probably something about skating, not wanting to hurt your mall crawler, etc etc

Almost got in my first accident today, some derp didn't understand what yield means. The look on the old lady's face that watched it all happen was priceless. I could feel my heart drop as I slammed on the brakes.. It's good to know ABS works.

    True. I'm 2WD and proud! :D I do need more armor though…

Damn, I'm glad your'e okay. I know that feeling. I had that happen on my old truck, slammed on the breaks and swerved back and forth in my lane to stop from hitting the guy.
