when i joined the forum however many years ago, how to fit the fj caps to sport wheels was one of the very first "writeups" i saw. not sure why it's stuck in my head, but it'll be cool o see on your truck. it's one of those mods that was real popular when people first found out it could be done, and then died off. don't know why it died off though, i think it looks great.

Most times they are tight but have to check each one as you go:cool:

There is a cop in Tampa that did the write up on them. I like the look of em and 40 bean's for a simi new look is ez to come by. 400 bucks for used wheels is a crap shoot if you do not know the person. Got a nice set for a old 63 Impala SS back in the 70's and 1 was bent & never did find a good one. Also need a light gun (more beans) as my old 12 GA. is like 15 Lbs and getting to hard to lug around.. Gun or wheels Its not a hard call for me:D,,,, Jim

Hey Florida Peeps!! I was wondering if anyone could do me a favor and measure the 3 sections of the rear sliding window. I need the measurements so I can give them to SockMonkey and get proper pricing for everything that I want to have him produce!!! Thanks in Advance.

TRD off roads are the only ones that come with either of these from the factory i thought, so i would assume they fit together.

So I narrowed the noise down to the right rear, and it's when the time take this one corner which has a little bump in it. A quick check showed that the bottom most (little guy) leaf is a little crooked. Could this be it? Am I safe to remove the u bolts and put them back on?

my leafs are all kinds of crooked, and no sound. probably not your issue. check where your shock mounts to the axle. if that is loose, when the shock shifts, it can make a nice sound.

to save colin the trouble, the middle is roughly 12x12 (yes it's a lil shorter) the sides are about 13 and 3/4 high, they're actually slanted so it gets longer as you go farther out

and each width is about 18 and 3/4 in the middle and 20 1/2 inches at the bottom

actually made an edit, i said shorter as you go out, but it's longer, but you guys prob figured that out anyway
