    thus why I felt my limitations last year, sure could I fix them with lockers and 35's yup

    is it what i truly want to do though, hmmm not sure,

    my ultimate decision come when i decided to get work truck through work though :p

    I hear ya man. thats why my truck is always so thrashed haha! I ran every trail we did in MOAB in 4Hi I havent even used 4Lo until 2 weekends ago. So I am sure with lockers and some armor I will be ok but SAS is so damn sexy and makes IFS sad on the trails.

    and right now my dinky 3" with 33's isnt cutting it. Even when I push it through the rediculous stuff Its never enough. Doesnt help that my primry wheeling partner is a 10" 93 Wrangler on steroids.

    dude just run in 4-LO its so much easier on the drivetrain......

    i like 4-HI dont get me wrong, but when I noticed how much smoother the truck ran in 4-LO it made a world of difference

    in MOAB i dont know if it ever came out of 4-LO

    Yeah, I didnt know haha, learned the error of my ways. But if I had run MOAB and everything else I have done in 4Lo it would have been so much easier and it wasnt too hard to begin with.

    nwi has some how swayed me back LT........... i think im going to aim for an older toyota and do an SAS

    reason for the change in heart..... i still need to be able to drive my truck regularly, work has decided me having a work truck at home is not needed :(

    with that being said thanks for any help, but check out my build for the Built Right Kit i just ordered

    Thanks NWI for showing me your pictures you truly did show me what a LT truck can do, i do see some 37's in my future though :eek:

    Hah, Mark convinced you to keep IFS, and well he uses it and keeps up just fine to some insane rigs so I'm sure it'll be good for you:thumbsuP

    But the BR kit is 3.5" Wide so that's going to be crazy wide without some Fiberglass (which will require modifying you DO bumper otherwise you'll have a Muffin top) :notsure:

    ultimately it did come down to end comfort, and i think yes i could get the SAS to where I wanted but would it be what I wanted probably not in the long run

    I know its crazy wide, but the Built Right stuff is soooo awesome :D im just as excited :D, shall be interesting, seeing how much wider it goes

    and Im going to look at doing what Homer did did to his jungle flares , i'll be ordering some upper travel limits to start though

    I gotta look at what I want to do with the rear, I like the BR tower, but I think a shackle might be all I need

    Yup, LT is the best all around thing for these trucks IMO.

    Look up NoMods truck he's running the TC kit so it'll look like that, kind of impractical for DD but that's just me.:cool:

    The flares are nice, I love being able to run 35's and keep a stock looking (some what).

    Those BR Towers are nice, kind of tall, but nice. You wouldn't need something that tall with a stock replacement pack as you would only be running a 12" Shock, those tires are designed for 16" shocks. Look up NoFords08 build as he's having shock hoops built this weekend w/ a 12" Smooth body with AP Expo Leafs. :cool:

    Wise choice IMO. I have wheeled with Mark for almost a year now and even with my SAS I am jealous of his truck. I truely should have just gone LT (though I only say this since I've been fucked so many times with my SA) But I appreciate his hard work and time in his truck. I'd trade mine any day.

    My 2nd gen will be LT when it's done, and it will be for crawling. Deserts are FAR away :D
