    I like idaho. No rules, no fees, reminds me of the way things used to be. If we were doing this in western wa, each of us would have to have a $10 Discovery Pass for state managed lands or a forest service pass for federally managed lands. :eek: wtf. Then there would also be charges per person for camping. :pout:

    Nope. Do you really need to know today. Because I'm still holding some hope for lolo.

    I did check the clearwater NF road conditions website today. It shows the FS500 road is now open on both ends but all of the middle is still listed as impassable because of snow and waist deep ice drifts. :eek:

    It is encouraging to see there has been some progress since I last checked a week ago.

    The Clearwater NF road guide is reporting that the Lolo Motorway (FS500) is OPEN. :woot:

    The same website is also saying that Rocky Ridge Lake campground (Ben you remember that place from last year) is open. :D

    I will call the ranger and see if there are further details.
