I wasn't there for long but I had a blast!

Slow and trafficky. The delays added about 2 hours to the trip but damn it felt good to get home after a week on the road!

Sweet! I started putting the rear glass besides on the truck this afternoon and am running through what's realistic given the timeframe. Might end up running front mid-travel for the race. Regardless, I'm making sure I'm at the start line this time around! :)

Oh...and Chad, Bear, and I had the ranger called on us because of the big TW banner i had on my truck...apparently EVERYONE in the area heard about some dealership having a big meet...and apparently...its illegal to advertise on federal land...then we found out some boy scouts and church groups were planning on camping at the campsite we were at...and someone told the ranger that we were up there advertising...

so he made us take the banner down...then the entire TW/RH crew shows up and we took over the ENTIRE campground...trucks everywhere...tents at all the campsites...

the boy scouts ended up going up into the woods i think and the church groups snagged a big turn around/parking area nearby...but TW had the campground on lockdown :)

I was laughin about it. I got home and I've got another car I can take to work. The autozone lady was afraid for her life when she put that caked alternator in the testing machine and hit start. She thought it was gonna explode. The advanced auto guys didn't know what to do when the numbers didn't match up and the round peg wouldn't go in the square hole.

We did get the alternator cleaned out though. So I'll get it all cleaned up tomorrow and get it towed to the dealership and nicely explain that I just went camping and I have no idea what's going on.
