    Lookin good op!

I was having the same problem as you with picking out a lift. But after reading this thread I think I'm going full OME too.

Thanks. So far so good for me I think I got it just where I want it. It will be even better when I get some new shoes. Thinking about 255/75/17 for the height but to limit the width so I don't take a huge hit on my 80 mile daily commute.

What coils are you thinking about?

    Why not 265/70/17 ?

Maybe. I like the idea of a 32" tire to fill out the wheel well a little more and think the skinny may give a little less rolling resistance and not effect gas mileage as much but I may be very wrong here...

    full ome kit.

for many reasons but, to name just a few durability, the ability to load your bed to the brim ala the awesome dakar leaf pack, the double walled shocks can take a hit and ome valves them specific for their models of spring and their different spring rates.

this all comes together to give you a lifted truck with more than oem durability and a nice ride.

You may get a bit of a gain , but there seems to be a lot more selection in 265/70/17

True but I've been stalking the hankook dynapro atm and they offer 255/75/17. Probably won't be buying tires for a year so who knows...I know these dunlops suck but I just can't see throwing them out.

I hated the Dunlops , got rid of them after about 3 months .

I considered buying the P255/75/17 Hankook ATm's but ended up getting the LT275/70/17 Hankook ATm's

With my LT255/85/16 KM2s (55lbs/tire) on my 4Banger I only loose 1 to 2 MPGs compared to the stock Dungflops. I'm hoping to break even or gain 1 MPG when the Dungflops get replaced with P265/75/16 Dynapros. I was going to wait to get the 265s as a compromise tire (bigger than stock but not to big for commuting since I do 280 to 350/week) but ran into a great deal I couldn't pass up ($100 for a set of 1st Gen TRDs on a local 4x4 forum). So now I have a great set for off road & the Dungflops for commuting.

I wonder if your 1-2 mpg loss has more to do with the MT and if I went with an AT I would experience the same?

Did you get new UCAs with your lift? How was alignment?

Did not do UCAs yet (don't think I will have to) and have not been in for an alignment. I will take it in this coming week. It still tracks nice and straight after the lift but I know I have to take it in.

I'm looking at 2012s and trying to figure out which lift to go with this time. I'm pretty sure that I'm gonna go with this set up. I just wonder about the UCA part.

I noticed a little groan or a creak from the front end while turning at slow speeds after about 400 miles so I torqued everything again and all good now.

Going for alignment on Monday so I torque again after that.

    Still loving the ride.

How much lift did you get off of the 884's? I am looking in to this same setup. Looks good!

i'm late to the thread, 884 and OME shocks all around, I love it and have been doing drives from socal to norcal monthly, 10,000 miles in 7 months. To compare, last year I put 6000 miles on my lexus, as my only vehicle.
