subwoofers behind ur seats.

hey any one with subwoofers hidden behind their seats in their double cabs post pics i want to see what they look like and how you like the sound and what brand subwoofers ur running.

 

I'm trying to get subs for my DC also. All I've found out so far, is you're definitly gonna need a shallow sub and box. Most likely 8 inch subs are all that will fit.

sounds great, and would be even better if I upgraded my 600w amp.

 

I wouldnt bother with boss, its pretty much the cheapest sub you can get, and you get your moneys worth.

You can but full kits for the dc Tacoma. About a 140 bucks for the box that takes up all the storage behind the seats, and you have to take out the plastic seat backs. You can get dual 6.5, 8's or 10's. Almost bought this system and put it in with a couple shallow 10's but decided that it was worth it. I am going to be upgrading to a new tacoma here soon. Love my 01, but I think I can justify buying a new truck after 300k.

 

I have list below the 10" sub is mounted behind my passenger side rear seat fits in the cubby with a little mod to the cubby. I don't have a picture but perhaps I will get one tomorrow , it sounds good but I am 45 and used to listen to jet engines alot lol so what do I know.

I have one of these under the drivers seat, not boom boom loud but makes a nice solid sound in the cab.

Did you have to remove the plastic off of the back of your seat to get that box to fit? Pics please.

 

I was also looking at getting subs in my DC. I have an '04 and I could only find a box that would fit behind the back seats and it only holds one shallow mounted 10". I guess it'll have to do...
