    Have you laid tile on concrete? used anything besides the thin set mortar?

    I don't believe you need it since the tile is going on a slab.
    not bad, not that good either.

    I tried to get my uncle to install my 5100s, but he is very busy. so I got the shop I ordered the shocks from to do the install. I said numerous times that I wanted them set at 1.75" when I made the appointment. upon taking measurements this morning and a little investigating I've determined that they are at 2.5" not 1.75". I've known the shop owner for 15+ years and I believe he will fix it without too much convincing.

    the front was at 20 1/4" before, at 23" now.

    I counted 3 groves under the spring seat with a small flat head screw driver, should only be 2 groves under the seat if it were at 1.75".

    If the owner didn't do the install, maybe he didn't see what the guy set them at. Easy enough to fix, right? :eek:

    My truck is at 22 1/2" up front which is 2 1/2" higher than it was before I installed my 885's

    it should be an easy fix. it will need another alignment, which should be on them. what sucks is I need my truck for work, so a few hours at the shop means I lose out on a few hours pay.

    I'm going to call the shop Monday morning to make them aware of their mistake. they're closed on weekends, so I'm going to have to miss work to get it fixed.
