What is "decent" and what do you want to do with them?? Offroading or just the front "stock" skid plate look?? Do you want a whole set (differential, trans, ect ect) or just specific parts??

No worries- I'd take a look BudBuilt or websites.

Folks have been very happy with the products received...I'm planning on a set of Bud's skids down the road I think. All pro has a bit of a deal going on for the month of april with credit toward shipping....Good luck!!

x2! Buds are the best IMO... You just don't have to worry that they're gonna do their job. If I had All Pros, I'd wonder if I was popping welds if I hit something hard...

Why "minus stock front"? My first trip to Utah when my '08 was new I hit a rock, folded the front skid plate up tight against the front differential, and put a hole the size of a golf ball through it. They shouldn't call the stock ones "skid plates", they should call them "gravel guards". If you're going off road start your armor replacement WITH the front one and go from there. Look at the pic below. You'll notice that if you are going to hit anything with the undercarriage the first hit will be on the front skid.

Im not going to be doing any "hard" Wheeling (like i did with my S-10) so the front one is sufficent. Im more worried however about gouging my oil or trany pan.

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
the stock one i by far NOT sufficient. if ur planning on protecting the oil pan or tranny, then u need to get a skid that will actually cover those. the AP IFS skid goes past the oil pan and there is a transmission skid that attaches it and covers back to the crossmember.

and if ur playing hard enough to bust either of those items, u'll leave that stock skid bent on a trail somewhere

    +1!

I like gpspowells comment on the "stock skid plate"... Call it a gravel guard instead. That's all it's good for (as long as it's small gravel :D).
