My youngest son wants a Ford Fusion with the I-4. Does anyone have any experience with the Fusion?

Had a coworker that had two late model fusions, not sure what years. One was a hybrid and one was a regular gas powered. He made regular trips back and forth to Ohio from VA so he had a lot of miles on them. He was very happy with their quality and dependability as far as I know.

I had a 2010 as a company vehicle. In 18 months I drove roughly 60,000 trouble free miles. It was great and we actually just bought my wife a brand new one.

Have you had to do anything besides the normal brakes, tires and oil changes?

My mother in law owned a Focus for 2 years and it was in the shop 13 times....literally!

My wifes friend bought one a few years back and it was in the shop 6 times within a year...

New or not...I won't buy nor let my family drive a focus.

parents have one. got to drive it when I was home. Seems like a solid enough car. didnt notice any problems with it. I thought it was boring to drive but it got good gas mileage and pretty smooth shifting 5 speed. no complaints but i wouldnt buy one
