Idk. To be 100% honest there are a lot of things that I am extremely confused about with the description of his truck

Did you grind the part that your shock is bolted to?

Or did you grind the metal piece coming off of your frame that is a "U" shape that looks like its attached to your tire?

i was just thinking the same thing. a 315 metric 35" or a true flotation size 35 would never fit on a tacoma with no lift at all.

for 35's you need a 3 inch lift minimum or you couldn't drive the truck. seriously any bump would have your fender flares ripping off or worse. like i said i cut beat welded and melted things on my truck and i still rub both front and back with 295's and a 4.75 bs wheel.

take a look at the sidewall of your tire and write down the size then relay that to us i'm just curious at this point.

btw, for the lift search out the suspension section under forum list there is tons of info on every kind of lift but, air bags are not really popular.

Stay away from the body lift, and i'm as shocked as everyone else by you running 35's and 33's while stock and not having any rubbing. Whatever it is you ground, yeah, no bueno.

Couldn't imagine how much modification you had to do to get 295s to work. My coworker has 285s with the max track spindles and he used to (idk if he still does) rub like a mother fucker

stopping would imply he can move in the first place lol

he can't have a 35" tire on there its impossible. i doubt the front tires are even 33's there is no way he must be lifted some how already and doesn't realize it. or he doesn't understand how to read tire sizes correctly no offense op.
