I have (4) 2012 DCSB w/ tow package. Don't believe the tow package is standard. It was listed as an option on mine.

My 2012 Sport dc 4x4 has the 4-leaf pack

    As I have been educated:
(dealer info, so could be suspect...)

    2012 Sport & SR5 have the 4-pack
    2012 OR has re-engineered 3-leaf pack

the 3-leaf on the OR allows for more travel, something Toyota assumes off roaders want/need.

there will be no TSB for the OR 3-leaf pack.

*I didn't inquire as to access or reg cab configurations*

Post how it goes. My '12 OR has the same issue and I'll start my fight with the dealer sometime over the next week or two. Love my truck but the leaf spring issue is driving me nuts.

probably be a frustrating and fruitless effort.

the 2012 3-leaf on the OR has been re-engineered. the SR5 and Sport get the 4-leaf.

the reason is, most who buy the OR do so to off road (go figure), and the 3-leaf allows for more suspension travel. yes, you give up the hauling ability the 4-leaf offers...but you can drive over rocks and stumps better.

the dealers are not going to replace the 3 pack w/ a 4 pack w/o Toyota issuing a TSB. so be prepared to pay out of pocket if a 4-leaf pack rear is your desire.

It's why I passed on a sweet loaded Silver TRD OR, and waited...2 days later a Silver TRD Sport arrived on the carrier, and it was mine on the spot.

But I want my cake and to eat it too! I wanted lockable dif with somewhat of a payload rating.

Airbags or an aal. There is also some product I think its called super spring that is like an aal but goes on top of the pack and provides no lift. I wanted the locking diff but wanted the long bed more.

I'm really happy with the firestone ride rite air bags. If I carry more weight, I pump in more air. Different conditions require about 5 to 7 strokes from a bicycle pump. For under 300.00 dollars and 3-4 hours work, why not.
