STUNT MANS REGULAR CAB BUILD

i know i have to post one up. when i was looking into which muffler to go with i could not find one video clip anywhere of a 4cyl tacoma running an aero turbine.

i'll use my sisters i phone to take a video tomorrow for you guys. it sounds pretty nasty

You are right, your truck is like my trucks little bro! We have a lot of the same mods. Not sure if I will put in a snorkel until it's no longer my DD, though. And those lights are sick! How much did they run you? Brand?

Why are all the Taco owners in New England?!?! No one on the west coast is close enough to hit the trails!

btw new jersey isn't part of that whole new england thing lol.

down here we are in the middle of the south and the the north people commonly refer to this area as the arm pit of the country. a no mans land so to speak filled with greasy haired pickle sniffers and morons first pumping and texting while driving

ah man btw go for the snorkel its awesome since i put it on i know its saved me at least once plus it looks great and for some reason or another women seem to really like it lol

 

I'm guessing the ones that you currently have on. They look all black with a ring of small lights around the headlight on the inside.

Hahaha! Thanks for the correction! Oregon can't pump our own gas either! We are the only ones that never jumped on the bandwagon. I hate waiting for those slow f**ks at the gas station!

How much does the snorkel affect performance? My K&N sounds real nice and I'll pretend I can feel the +10hp

 

i don't really think it effected performance although since i installed the aero turbine my truck does feel more responsive in the higher rpm's than it did before.

i also finally got around to cleaning the afe pro dry and air box though. at speed the snorkel acts like a ram air forcing air into the factory air box so i believe my observation to be true. if you open up the exhaust a little as well you can get a tiny bit more responsive.

i want to see just how bad i need gears lol on my last trip to vermont it seemed pretty noticeable with all the mountains. thats going to be my next mod for sure.

its not that bad lol to be honest if you find some local guys they can help you on mod days and such to install your lift help with headlights and stuff that your unsure about.

i'm always here if you have any questions about stuff as well. your truck is nice man what are you planning on doing first?

 

sounds ok, too loud and too raspy glad i went magnaflow much deeper and not too loud

 

its loud but, i don't get any rasp with it. the video makes it sound a little different than it actually does.

I'm planning on putting in the trd air filter as well as the trd exhaust. But after seeing your snorkel that might be an option as well. Just don't know how it will look with silver paint.

My dad said he was going to get me those nice tx trd rims for Christmas so that should look good. But my real project is going to be the trd supercharger. I want the truck to perform before I lift it. Going for that sleeper look!
