Hey guys I used to only visit TW when I owned my previous Tacoma than I made the mistake of getting rid of it and buying a mustang ugh... don't yell at me yet the story gets better. Recently I corrected that mistake and bought a new 2012 Tacoma TRD 4x4 Double Cab, I figured if I'm going to do it, do it right which includes getting involved with the TW community. I look forward to sharing my build and getting some great ideas from you guys. I also want to actually get some MUD under the tires sometime so Oregonians drop some knowledge on me on where to go. So that's it guys let me know if you got any ideas on where to start with my Taco, ill prob take it slow but steady.

I love Mustangs - had one before my Tacoma. If I were in a position to have a sports car as well as a Taco, a Mustang would be a strong choice. Especially with the new 5.0 coyote.

Well, to be honest, I'm not really sure we should welcome the OP back, guys. He has already turned his back on the Tacoma community once - for a cheesy Mustang, no less. With that in mind, how can we really know for certain he won't be quickly enticed away again by some other flashy toy? I truly want to give him the benefit of the doubt, but his history makes that quite difficult.

So, what say you, guys? Should we extend an outstretched hand of friendship, or simply slap him with that hand instead? :smack:

I understand your concern Stewartx and you are wise to question my loyalty. I will consider myself a broken man if I cannot earn the communities trust, for this I beg of you to show mercy. I did not turn my back on my old Tacoma faintly she was a solid rig but she was only a 2x4 and drank gas excessively the mustang seemed like a logical choice her mpg was a improvement while still satisfiying my need to drive and work on a piece of art. I had my mustang for a much shorter period of time than my old Taco if anything i turned my back of Ford and their mustang.

Okay, you'll pay for your minor indiscretion with all the money you'll now spend on mods for the truck (I certainly did - and I'm not even sure what my indiscretion was), so welcome to the forum.

You'll find plenty of ideas by searching through the various threads. If you run into something interesting, jump right in and comment or ask questions (two posts so far is lame ). If nothing else, we're a talkative group.
