I posted this in my build thread but i dont think i will get very much of a response lol. I have a couple of thoughts here. I was thinking about getting a tool box for the bed of my truck. Im not sure what brand is "good". I defiantly want a black low profile one. I also want to get a small air compressor to mount inside as well as a tool bag, battery (or all in one jump starter), and maybe mount some backup lights on the lid of the tool box. Thoughts?
Edit: also, for the air compressor would an air tank be necessary for airing up tires or would the compressor itself be ok?

 

Should work good.

Make sure the battery has a good vent. I'd actually just make three small compartments in the actual box one for tools, one for battery and one for compressor.

I'd also make sure it's a deeper box too. That's my least favorite thing about tool boxes that below them you loose some storage space.

 

I don't unless it bad. But Wyoming mud is high in bentonite which basically makes it like super glue mud. If you don't get it off ASAP it stays on for a long time.

Do you have any recommendations for a tool box? Ive heard UWS makes good ones but i have no idea

 

Sadly I can't be of help there. I have never used one myself

 

At that point I'd just roll it into a detail shop and hold them to the normal price

I loved it. The ladder isn't the greatest..but not something to fret over.

Did a little trip this weekend it was a blast..

Made a mount for my spare. Just something cheap and temporary until I get either a tire gate or something from cbi.

Just made out of some spare metal I had. Welded 2 bars to a nut on some all thread. Then removed the factory spare tire winch cable thing, drilled a hole up and welded a nut to the factory xmember.
