It appears that you can program 4 different modes-Ecco and Lo are fuel saving modes and will fell sluggish. The boost and high modes are more responsive. Should have been paper work on how to program modes. If not contact product support.

Better fuel econmy will result in less power.

More power will result in less fuel economy.

Find the perfect middle ground for you. The V6 in my Taco has plenty of power, and I can still manage damn good MPGs from it. I drive with a light foot for a reason.

I think everybody seems to be misunderstanding my situation.

My truck probably has around 110-120 hp at the rear wheels. If I wanted more power, I wouldn't expect anything from this throttle controller.

I'm not looking for any increase in fuel economy. If I wanted that, I wouldn't have bought a truck.

I'm looking for an increase in throttle response.

This sounds interesting! I agree with you, throttle response is horrible on our trucks, especially with manual trannys!

If you bought that controller for better throttle response then set it on high and if that doesn't satisfy you then that is the best you will get and accept it or dont worry about it besause it's not going to get any better. I have a 2.7 auto and really have no issues with it. Maybe you should look at converting to cable instead of drive by wire? Big Bucks!
