    UPDATE!!!!!!

So after Talking with the main manager after coming from his vacation, He Brought me into his office and had me explain the situation and fill him in on the problem as he knew nothing about it, As soon as i told him the service manager called my wheels cheap(which are $322 Each) Thats not cheap lol,, He called in the service manager to his office while i was there and skulled him on calling my wheels cheap, He had no problem in replacing my wheel at all. He was very sorry of the situation and he said it should of never took this long to replace.

He ordered the same wheel and it should be here this friday!!:)

Thank you guys for all your suggestions i really appreciate your guys help..:)

    Whats up guys

So i took my 2012 tacoma to the dealer to get the first service, I have aftermarket wheels on there that i got at around 300 miles when i first purchased the truck. So the truck has been driving great had no problems at all!! wheels are great no shakes no nothing, So i take the truck to get it serviced and when i drive it off the lot i hear a noise..:eek:

Come to find out it was the break caliper hitting the rim:eek: So right away i take it to toyota and on my way there the noise goes away. and by that time they had already closed.

So i drove it back home and the steering wheel would shake alot at around 50-60mph. I was pissed!!

I took the truck today so the main service manager can look at the rim and right away he was rude he didn't want to do anything about it, He said, You need to contact the wheel company and that i got some cheap wheels i just honestly felt hopeless he was super RUDE!!! I told him i had perfectly good wheels when i drove it in to get serviced and now im stuck with this!! All he said was i cant do anything those are cheap wheels!! I was so pissed..:mad:

So finally i told him i was going to have to take legal action and all he said was, DO WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO and walked away!! Worst customer service i have ever experienced!!:mad:

So i put back the stock wheels for now but i dont want to give up on this situation so i need your guys opinion..:D

Here are some pictures of the damage they did..

Keep in mind i bought these brand new!!

I would be pissed too. Idk much about that or what's wrong, but go somewhere else to see what the problem is. And I like how you put the dealer info and who it was. Hate calls FTW! :headbang:

Wrong lugnuts, or they started tightening the lugnuts before the wheel was seated flat on the center hub.

X3. Possibly. Does look like that. What idiots they were to do that if that's what it is.

Before you take legal action, I would suggest contacting Toyota Customer Service and leave an unpleasant review.

Seems as though you should take the next step and make a case with Toyota, that's messed up. I really hate shit like this, if it's not theirs, they don't care about it.

Some of this & some of that...
You might want to file a claim with BBB to get the ball rolling. Most Companies will want to resolve the matter without going to court.
    http://www.bbb.org/
    http://www.la.bbb.org/business-reviews/New-Car-Dealers/Valley-Hi-Toyota-Scion--in-Victorville-CA-9110

As it seems, the dealership is responding to customer's who file complaints. At least you will be able to document what has been happening in case you ever do want to take it to court.

    Good Luck!

listen bro, let me tell you how it is with toyota... i have a very good friend whos a service writer in the toyota dealer by me where i go, and i used to work in the express section of the shop (where this little shenanigan happened) because u said it was your first service. so i know it automatically went to the express, and the express guys SUCK! thats the first reason your rim got fucked up. secondly... no disrespect here but the oem wheels are very good quality and most likely would have held up to the abuse your aftermarket wheel took in the shop.. the quality of any aftermarket wheel is questionable. so please, do yourself a favor, dont sue because you are wasting your time and money, im telling u straight out right now you will not ever win that battle, third, just recently, about 2 weeks ago when i brought my 2012 taco 4x4 in to get new tires put on, on my toyota 16" baja alloy wheel that i bought a set of 4 for an extra $1600.00 cost out of pocket before my truck even came in while it was still on order being made, the tech. messed up every spoke on one of the wheels, i was notified and told the since it is a toyota wheel, the the dealer tech messed up i was to get a BRAND NEW toyota 16" baja alloy given to me and put on at ABSOULTLY NO CHARGE to me at all. and 2 days later, the wheel came in and was put on.. all is well, because its a toyota part, the dealer will eat the costs of a fuck up like that if its a TOYOTA part, no questions asked.. so my advice to you, to get that same look your aftermarket wheel has is to get the black 16" TRD beadlock wheel off the tacoma TX baja/pro, that way, if they ever fuck it up again, the dealer will be eating the cost.. all u gotta do is just sit back and them get it... if i were u, thats what id do. i hope this helps.

here is that wheel id suggested you get:

With all that said, it does not give them the right to screw up his property, and should pay to replace.

I'd try all three of these suggestions. Don't wait for one to fail before trying the next. File your complaint with Toyota Corporate, get in touch with the dealership upper management/owners and file with the BBB.

Best thing you can do, keep a level head when talking to these people. They tend to shut down if you start throwing around 4 letter words. You can express your frustration, but tact goes a long way.

Good luck, looks like they really screwed up. I hope they fix it for you!

well of course, thats the right and proper thing to do, but we all know its not going to happen, im telling u i know how toyota dealers operate with their advisers, parts and service department...they will NEVER, not in a million years pay to replace an aftermarket part, no matter what it is! im not trying to steer a fellow tacoma owner in the wrong direction,im just telling you the truth and what the best way to fix this problem is going to be. i know it sucks, and u feel like the dealer "won" as of right now, but if they do it again, and u have a toyota wheel on it, id laugh in his face! cause he has no choice but to pay for a new one

You paid $1600 for a set of 16" baja wheels? Is that just wheels without tires?
