That's true. Although mine was built in 1910 and all I need to do is fix the lawn. I can't offer much help right now with the new baby but if you need extra tools. I have a few really nice drills and saws let me know.

did my uncle's garage in evergreen not too long ago...he did all the prep work (acid wash and cleaning), but the application was easy..

Had an amazing weekend camping in the mountains this weekend. Ran up Peru Creek and was going to do some of the spurs but didn't have another vehicle with me, cinnamon gulch seems like it would be easy along with warden gulch so im excited to get back up there and see some of the mines.

THose pics are great! I'm hoping to get my lift installed in the next few days so I can get a few runs in before school starts. I have to call and find a shop that can re-arch my leaf springs before I install. I've heard you can save springs that way and save a bunch of money. Hopefully it works because I don't have money for new packs but don't have patience to wait too long to install my new stuff!

Sean, the tundy could very very easily make it up those trails. Id like to hike up the back side of Argentine Pass too, its been closed to vehicles for years, and supposadly there are a bunch of other mines up the road on the hike too. Pretty cool for the kids!!!

We had a massive rain storm come in quick so we had to get back to the truck and start driving out, or i would have loved to explore more.

I just talked to an old man that owns a leaf spring shop in fort collins. I've heard nothing but good things about him, but he says I probably can't rearch my springs. Says he can custom build a leaf pack that uses a single leaf that will increase my load capacity and it will be approved for on and off road use. He said toytec (Deaver) add a leafs are marked for off road use only, and if there is a failure while using it on road, you have no legal recourse. Could be he is trying to get me to go to him for business, but he sounded very knowledgable.
Worst part is that he is moving his shop and can't do work for a couple weeks. Looks like I might have to sit and wait for my lift, because I want good leaf packs that will add carry capacity and will also be solid off road. Hopefully he can make his leafs work with my deavers and have me end up with a quality setup... The wife is gonna kill me when she finds out that I need more parts to get this thing going.

keep in mind, from what i've heard about the trails in montezuma area that head to the back side of argentine, the trails back there can get pretty tight...the brush and trees can scrape the sides of 2nd gens easily, so i'd keep an eye out if you go back there with the tundra..jeff (dark knight) has gone back there a couple times, ask him..

Yep, i was typing that you would probably get some colorado pin stripes but then deleted it ha ha ha, Peru creek all the way up to the gate towards the back side of Argentine is ok for the tundra though. Wasnt tight at all, Id stay off the spurs though, a couple of friends did them 2 weeks ago and said the same thing. very tight and would have pin striped my tacoma big time.

Let me know if anyone wants to make a trip up to that area, id love to head up again.

Here is my track of peru creek, The red is the entire peru creek trail, first right is Warden Gulch,, first left teal color is Chihuahua Gulch, and the third right is Cinnamon Gulch. The mine on top of cinnamon gulch looks amazing!!!
