    Gotta say other than the fact that it's free never really been a fan of Yates place. Would be nice to stay somewhere that at least has a decent bathroom you dont need breathing apparatus to use.

    There are, but they're pay sites. Not very expensive if I recall...$10ish per night.

    Technically the trails are forest service land, so you can camp anywhere along them you can park that isn't actually *on* the trail. More than once I've been down there and just "this'll do" and threw up the tent in a pull off...

    How far are the campgrounds from the trails? I see on the national forest website stuff about Baden lake and arrowhead?
