After the hill climb there was that narrowish rocky section with a crossed up left line and the flatter but more protruding right line. That's Rocky Mtn Loop. Everyone tries to the left line, crosses up, and then takes the right line. They saw me coming, I went left, they got shit eating grins, I got crossed up, ATRAC clicked, I kept rolling, waved, and drove off like it wasn't shit:D

no problem, litter in the city doesn't bother me but litter in a pristine environment like that drives me crazy. assholes like that give offroading a bad name

personally i think i look better with pants off...

i think we're all talking about the same spot. Jeff, is that the area i had to back up a couple times? if so then yeah, i wanted to go left but ended up having to force my way up the right side. i was in 4hi at the time. i'm wondering how i would have done in 4lo with the rear locked....

That's what I think. It's funny, about every time we passed someone along the trail they said "Don't mess up those purty rims and white letters".

Alright guys, sorry its taken me so long...Thanks for the big turnout this weekend...Felt like the whole thing was a graet success!! So, as to the TRILLION RHT Tuck pics...lol...I have to do a presentation in the Saturday morning business meeting so I had to have a shit load for em...Also some of our pics are getting sent to the Vice President of Toyota so get me what you can of your trucks...1 or 2 highlights of each...He wants to see what these Toyota's are made of...I have tons of pics of everyone elses trucks to get out to you also but if you have any favorites let me know or else I'll just use what I have of each...Now as for my meeting with the managers this morning...I explained that the group there this weekend was like none other. Most met for the first time but it was like a reunion of old friends that have known each other forever. The things I saw these trucks do this weekend were amazing...gives me a whole nother outlook on wheelin...I know we didn't do much for you guys out there this weekend but if you guys want to drop a real short thank you note to two of my managers I think that would inspire them to go bigger and better for the events to come...more financial backing...PM me and I'll send you their emails if you are interested at all...last two things, sorry this is so damn long, They have given me the ok to go ahead and plan our next one a few months in advance so if you have any suggestions on place and time please let me know...gulchesorvpark.com check that out and let me know what you think bout that place...It's in South Carolina so closer for Jeff and Will and Nate...Trying to accomodate everyone...unfortunately we lost 4 of our guys at this last meet to deployment...lets keep them in our prayers...LAST but not least, I've talked with out managers about putting together a wheelin/show truck... Definately a Tacoma cause I don't know if Tundra's would've made it thru some of those tight turns...Cool thing is...you guys get to kinda help build it...send me any ideas you have for a truck and lets go all out...Color, Graphic Schemes, We can wrap it, prolly a 6" lift, what kinda of rims, tires, sliders, Grills, Bumpers, Light kits, Ect...Again Thanks for everything!!! I had a BLAST!! Even with Spit Can and Jersey there...Big Thanks goes out to Jamie also for this weekend getting everything lined up!!

i think you should cut out the whole 6" idea and go all out and put a solid axle underneath :)

check out the Beast that Jason Demello built and shoot for that :D

thanks again for helping out and everything!

Gulches is fun BUT its less rocks and more dirt and mud

Its only an extra 30 minutes to URE than Gulches for me...and URE trail passes are cheaper :D

dont get me wrong...i like gulches...but what i like about gulches is that i usually go with a big crowd of people with all sorts of rigs (including hummers) and get to see folks who i dont see regularly who taught me to wheel

in all honesty though keep the events closest to your biggest membership crowd...the rest of us will find a way

Feel free to steal any of my pics for your uses but just make sure you give me credit for them :)

if you need any of some REAL old toyotas being hammered on PM me and i can hook you up

appreciate ya'll coming out man.....it was fun as hell. for a truck build/show and wheel from you guys......maybe just a bit of suspension lift, some decent tires/steelies...........something ya'll can hammer on and dent a bit..........then you can cut loose on the trails and not have alot to worry about....kinda like a budget build with some quality parts. and im gonna vote for revenge-fab sliders and budbuilt skids!!:D

You should build up a Trail Teams FJ.

He made the comparison of building up a Tundra or a Tacoma...so obviously the Tacoma wasn't the only option. The SWB of the FJ is an advantage. Just my .02
