I work for a law office as the small claims advisor and I gaurantee as soon as you file a claim against them for damages they will contact and pay you. I have seen it done with Mor Furniture, Ford, and Best Buy. OP if you need any help filing let me know. It's the easiest thing to do but can be overwhelming to a newbie. :)

HAHAHAHHAHAHAAA. Cant remember off the top of my head but I actually served a garnishment to one of her offices here in California. She works under some silly office name like "Law Offices of the Ladies" or something.

This is why I tell them to suck it on the 20 point inspection with the oil change.

Last time I went in I told they guy to not have the mechanics not touch anything but change the oil.

On my first oil change they checked my tire pressure and fucked my valve stem caps. Cross threaded it so bad I had to use pliers to get it off and the threads on the valve stem are all fucked up.

I am pretty sure the spacer he is referring to is a hub ring which is used to center the wheels to aid in no vibes and balance issues.

Still looking for the pics of the lugs used. I doubt discount tire would let it out with improper lugs since they like to sell products and seem to have set you up with hub rings which is not done by most shops.

No washers are used for that type of lug nut. Those are conical seats/tapered for the lugs. It looks like a stock style shaft lug was used and in doing so places all the force/load of the lugs on a 1/8" area instead of 1/2".

Best of luck on the situation. More pics and details are needed still to clearly determine fault.

Good luck getting anything out of the dealer they are mostly ass clowns around my area.

Also if discount tire messed up and sold you or let you out with the wrong lugs they will for sure cover the problem they are a stand up shop.

Seeing a set of Robbie Gordon wheels damaged makes me sad in a way that none of you will ever know the pain of. I will not sleep tonight.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
I keep my truck away from the Dealer now that the ex GM dicks are coming on board. Service KILLED GM (IMO) and service may kill Toyota, too if they aren't careful.

This is why some dealerships,no matter what brand, have a big sign hanging somewhere that reads "Not Responsible For Damage To Aftermarket Parts."OP may want to go back and look for one before he starts anything.

That stupid sign doesn't mean anything. That's like me putting a sign on my truck saying Not Responsible for Damage to Others and running into shit. If something was misused or damaged at the hands of an incompetent tech, the dealership is still responsible otherwise they'd have to refuse to work with any aftermarket part or make you sign a waiver.

With signage posted you were made aware of their policy.

I understand that but them putting a sign up does not give the dealership free reign to destroy anything aftermarket and not be held responsible. Those signs are put up to end simple debates with customers on the spot. They will not even be brought up in a legal setting.

^^^^agreed, If this was the case, the lots would have gates/guards inspecting for the smallest crap "after market" and deny entry. Also who deems what to be aftermarket, because isn't half the crap on the XSP trucks aftermarket ????

i say contactthe GM before anything. I had issues with everyone at the dealer because of their attitude. I took the GM's card that had his cell # on it. I calle him and he answered while he was in Vegas. Told him the deal he asked me to give him 2 days till he returns. He called me back 2 days later and appologized then sold me a truck 2k less than the advertised price and also gave me 5 free oil changes. I understand they might not be able to pay you or replace your wheel but im sure they will be able to get you free service/accessory/somrthing. Dont loose hope and dont quit fight them till you can.

Yes. My dealer even has a "vehicle customization center" in the showroom displaying aftermarket wheels, vent shades, exhaust tips, etc. And it's common enough to see spacer-lifted Tacos with $2000 price premiums sitting in the showroom.
