Hey guys just want to share with u the light rack that was just fabricated by my friends shop.

    1in .120 wall mild steel
    Fully adjustable through hiems joints
    (5) 55w hid. (3) spots (2) floods

Going to be powercoated here soon.

    2012-07-29_03-35-51_244_2cfa560f38404646741f1ee598ae0ea47609fe20.jpg

Was short 4 ins on the driver side cross member also have to weld in so bump tabs that wedge in the gap between the cab and windshield. Which will be done today hopefully.

Lights wired and on. The 3 spots and 2 floods are wired to their own switch. Everything was wired properly to relays.

Light output probably a good 3-4 football fields if not more ( bad judge of distance) but its way out there.

For this interested in maybe purchasing one I can talk to the owner and see what the pricing would be. Maybe set up a group buy of like 5 a piece or something.

Cool rack, I don't like things in the windshield frame of view though. Looks very well made.

It wasnt that bad when i turned it on last night. Ill get some pictures up tonight of what it looks like from the cab

I sent him a message today and he said he would put put together a price on them. this thing is super firm and unbolts with 4 bolts and 2 wires from the relay for easy removal.

the view from the cab isnt that bad it like driving with the visor down IMO.

You will be surprised how much steel flexes. I would bet money if you hit a high speed bump that is going to smack the windscreen.

You might want to look into getting two more points of contact to the roof for that.

Any chance we can get some inside pics??? From the back seat preferably just so we can see for ourselves what it looks like from inside and how far down it comes. I dont know about you guys, but being tall I cannot stand to have the sun visors down unless ABSOLUTELY necessary.

If not bad I am very interested in a price!!!

im going to get some night time pictures tonight. As far as where the rack sits the mounting arms can trimmed and the rack can be placed wherever u want it to sit this is just where I wanted mine. He can make it where it comes and sits 2"-4" higher for the tall guys.
