motor or suspension ?

im itching to do something to improve my build.... do you guys think i should go with beefing up my motor or suspension? ill take any ideas,comments, just need some help.

well obviously look nasty but daily driver and off road machine! pretty much best of both worlds. ha mud and trails

 

our engines already outrun our suspension, so i would go with suspension.

well if you have a prerunner OP, it won't do well in mud. Then again mud sucks so no big loss.

not really, you need to boost it to get noticeable power gains.

 

Yep. You can get some headers, combined with a borla or something else with a k and N cold air intake.... And for supension, either go with a drop bracket lift which isnt recommended by most, or get some nice coilovers................ Or do an SAS

 

but the headers only ad slight increase in power. not like a s/c or turbo does

to start, you can get some coilovers. i suggest getting king/fox/icon. but i would also look into cheaper alternatives like SAW coilovers.
make sure to get the ext travel ones.

then after that you can upgrade to a uniball upper control arm.

after that the possibilities are endless, you can start on the rear, or keep up with the front. it really depends on your budget and other things.

some headers you will lose power in the lower RPM range.
technically the tacomas have a stock cold air intake. you should do the deck plate mod instead.
DO NOT GET A DROP BRACKET LIFT.
doubt you will even want to think about a SAS. properly done is like 10k.

i forget if you can do the deck plate on a 3.4..... but if so, do it!
