Is there anyone that has the 2.7 engine anymore? Looking for mods/pics and builds. I seen alot of threads on here and only seem to see alot of toyota's with the 3.4's. Please no 2nd generation pics/builds.

LCEngineering has mods for lots of Toyota 4 cylinder engines. The 2RZ and 3RZ are very popular.

gradually replacing the bumper with hairy bondo ;-)
Not modding it, unless you want to call adding an Ultragauge and replacing the exhaust and O2 sensors with close to stock replacements "modding" (wanted stainless, did not want louder, ordered stock-style exhaust that's not stainless since every stainless system I could find was louder) - but certainly driving it. 139,000 miles young. See quite a few others around here.

2.7 here! What are you looking to do? you say you want mod lists and builds but then you say you don't want to mod your truck that way?

Think he means to make it even better at wheeling.
OP I have changed front shocks to 5100s with OME coils, rear with ICONs. Not really mods. Only real mod I have done is seat swap.Want to add tweeters, convert to electric windows/locks by finding donor Tacoma.
I need new leaf springs like almost every old 1st gen out there and intake manifold is cracked. Was able to score some LCE headers hope to install this weekend and do deckplate mod at same time.

brand new performance dimple slotted rotor,
premium semi metallic brake pads, new brake calipers.
5.29 front and rear Yukon Gears.
now need to throw another 2g-3g for the 6" lift
and that might settle me for while.
