Got about 4500 miles on my new 12 AC 6spd OR. First brand new vehicle for me. 3rd Yota. Had a 94 2wd that wouldn't die(believe me, I tried). Then got an 06 Tundra 2wd reg cab that was a sweet heart and I'm sure I'll regret selling it. But she served me well(miss that 8' bed). But this Taco is the truck I've always wanted and I'm going to love it and hug it and squeeze it(anybody know that reference?)! We're going places! And it's an unforseen bonus to be a part of TW!

I have a 2009 Pre-Runner V6, Automatic, Silver with gray and black interior. I got it in early June it had just over 40,000 miles. Not a new Tacoma but new to me. It was a replacement for a 02 TRD V6,4WD 5 spd manual that I totaled out in interstate action.... WHEW!!! This '09 is the third Toyota I've owned, the first was a T100 SR5 V6,5 SPD/4WD Getting used to the automatics is taking me some time, but my wife loves it. I've had some bad luck with my trucks. I am just starting to like this one and I sure hope my bad luck is over with.

Guys. I'm running 275/70/18 monster wheels with cooper tires on my 2012 Tacoma. 2.25 level kit on front. I'm rubbing on the control arm. What size spacers would I need to fix this? And would I have to cut the bumper to make it fit?
Would I be better off to get 275/65/18 instead with spacers???

    Hi guys,

I am a true Taco lover! Bought my first Tacoma in 2008. It's a 05 Tacoma PreRunner TRD Offroad. I have 147,000 miles on it and it's still running fine. I love it so much that I am now working for my local Toyota dealership. I look forward to chatting with you guys and learning more about the Taco.

    Hello,
Newbie here. Just bought a 2012 TRD Off Road 4 door short bed in Super White with a 6 speed manual. I am loving it! Mods coming soon. (need to save a few bucks first). I will do the tailgate mod tomorrow and maybe add locks to the storage doors in the bed. Those are cheap enough to do.[IMG]

Thank you! It is my first Toyota. My wife had a 99 4-Runner and she loved it. I traded in a 2001 F-150 Lariat and it feels like the smartest move i could have done. I'm dying to get out this weekend and find some trails ;-)

Finally got my tacoma! I've wanted a taco since I was 16 and could dream about my perfect car. My subaru was stolen on the 4th of july so I finally had an oppurtininty to get my taco. 2007 V6 SR5 with the 6 speed manual... Radiant Red... I bought the truck last week with 61k. Looks like it has a 3in lift (spacers in the coilovers and AAL from what I can tell but will post pictures) can't wait to really make it my own
