Try and put a washer on the bottom bolts between the frame and shackle to see what happens. It looks like the shackle has a bit more space in between the hanger or is that just the angle of the picture.

I have seen your Monkey crawler so that's not saying much

Last pic I saw it barely had rear fenders :D

The problem is the shackle hanger you bought is wider then stock. Not sure why he made them like that but he did all the same. Yes add washers I guess. OP should really chime in - send him a PM.

Thats what I am thinking, but pics are a bitch to try and diagnose such a small issue.

On the ABS connector just unstrap it and reverse it so it slides onto the top of the bracket instead of the bottom. Worked fine for mine. I think XXXX is looking for measurements from bottom of fender to center of hub. Mine sit at 25"s in the rear and 24"s up front. I gained 1/2" over my measurements before the flip. Now I just need to remember to bring a tape measure with me on the next trip so I can measure it flexed out (just before the tire leaves the ground) and the compressed side. I have almost the same set up as you and with the longer billies on I did get that bump on the compress side to touch. But yes the spring went negative arch to accomplish that.
Yeah mine did get a bit sucked in but I just put an angle finder on the bottom of the shackle (side connected to spring) and it measures level. I put it on the shackle hanger itself and it measured 1.5 degrees off 0 on the passenger side and 1 degree off on the drivers side. So I went on to measure the frame itself were I could. Near the back bottom of the frame on both sides the frame measured 0 degrees however when I went further forward in front of the shackle it measure .5 degrees off. Also measured the outside of both frames in front of the shackle on a flat spot before the shock mount and the frame was 2 degrees off. Also we repaired a very small bend in my frame on the passenger side where the stock shackle mount actually bent the bottom of the frame up. This repair was done with Vise grips and some muscle. So that should tell you how easily the fame can get bent or moved off a degree. Hell some of the welding that has been done on the back of my frame with my rear bumper and the shackles could have moved it. But never the less I am glad I have bushings in there to help correct where it is off. Since I off road my junk I already know that I will be pre-maturely wearing the bushing out just due to flex. So no biggie to me.

Also note that the frame itself tapered inward as it goes back toward the bumper. That could throw of picture angles as well.

Thanks for this pic. I am going to look into these a bit more. Did you reconnect your short shocks after you installed these and the right was rough? Mine was too until I go the longer shocks. Someone correct me if I am wrong but my feeling was that the shock fully extended created a rougher ride. You should try the longer shackles after you get longer shocks.

possibly, I returned them, but I can always order them again when needed. Right now I'm trying to get the funds together for new shocks. And it'll still take 5 weeks. So won't have any input for a while.

Your compressed length seems long. It should be more in the 18" range. Extended seems right. You really need to flex it out with the shocks disconnected to get proper measurements.

Ditto on the ABS connector. You can take that little clip off, flip it on the wire loom, and slide it back on the bracket on the top side.

Did you loosen the U-bolts when you did the install? Something I noticed on the ones I've installed are that the springs try to pull the axle to the driver side quite a bit without loosening the U-bolts. Even with them loose it tends to pull that way a little.

Yea I disconnected the shock and jacked the truck up by the frame. Until the tire came off the ground then measured it. As far as the compressed I connected the shock then jacked the wheel up until the leaf springs leveled out. If i can this weekend I can loosen the U-bolts and try to re-align everything.

Your shock picks are going to be very limited with a 16" compression and 28" extension which is about right with expo setup. I was just curious how far from the frame does the inside of the shackle hanger start. If you were to go straight down the frame and over to the inside of the shackle hanger.

I can measure tomorrow and see but OP might know now. Just curious what you might get from that measurement.

No need for hoops, just shocks and brake lines. ;)

I have a question nobody else has asked... If the rear axle droops more than factory with the flip kit, how does it affect the slip yolk on the drive shaft? I assume it just stretches more?
