for another toyota hopefully. me and my wife are building a new house so she is making me sell it and buy something that is more practical for our giant dog and much cheaper :/

i just got it where i want it and i never even really drive the thing i have been working from home for the last year or so it has almost no miles it just turned 15,500.

women, if your not married stay unmarried i literally waited since 1985 to get a regular cab toyota like marty mcfly and now she makes me sell it.

 

what should i even be asking for it?

i know cars i have bought & sold cars and trucks privately before i know what the truck itself is worth but, i literally have 15k into it lol. i had planned on keeping this truck for a long ass time so this kind of sucks. if i sell this truck nothing i can go out and buy will even compare what the fuck am i going to buy :/

 

this only inspires me to remain single....sorry man! the only way this works is a double cab tacoma! or tundra...but id stick with tacoma IMO. maybe keep some of your toys and just add them to the new truck

 

Turn it back to stock and get blue book value.

Then try to sell your aftermarket stuff for 2/3 - 1/2 of what you paid for them new.

Ill take some of the goodies for sure.

 

i can't have parts laying around all over the place or i would part it out and return it to stock. i have it out front parked up on my wife's stupid little garden teach her to tell me what to do lol.

if you guys want a particular item off of her let me know. if you think we can strip it out over the course of a couple days and get the majority of the stuff sold i'm game.

 

...............as others have stated. know you've put lotsa blood, sweat & tears into that beauty, especially the lights. but, hey, gotta consider the better-halves as well........... anyway, GLWS and your future plans!

 

i'm even considering shipping options as i have a guy out in oregon who really seems interested. open air flat bed transport is an option a thousand dollar option but, an option non the less.

 

Hans, sorry to go off topic, but how much trimming did you have to do to make your tires fit?

serious cab mount restructuring, hammered back the pinch weld melted surrounding plastic smooth and lost the mud flaps and got an after market bumper and a couple alignment sessions to make it perfect.

I returned my truck back to stock and had everything but the wheels and tires sold in a week. I got about 2/3 of what I had paid for the mods it sucks, but makes it much more appealing as a clean slate.

 

what you say about a mod day at my house?

well modding would imply that you would be putting things on the truck instead of ripping everything off of it but, eh. if i can get some of these parts sold on saturday i can go buy my new truck

 

2nd time listing it on ebay and now in the auto trader make an offer.
