Talked to fastenal, sounds like all the sliders just left seattle in a container and should be arriving within a weeks time.

 

First group of sliders are here! They called me for one pallet. The other pallet is here as well. The way the shipment was written up the whole pallet came to me and I couldn't leave other set so who had the weld ons with no kickout? I have your set. Call me for picking them up, sry I could not leave them. 864-396-3326. They look great guys!!!

 

They should all have a name written on them Jamey.
I can check with fastenal otherwise and see which was on the pallet, I thought they were including seperate letters/names with each set on a pallet but maybe not from what you're saying.

 

Nope, there was one letter for the pallet I had to sign for them to send back to you

ok now that i'm home and not trying to type on my iphone . There were two pallets, two sets on each pallet. each pallet is marked to go to ONE person. The Pallet that I picked up had mine and a set of weld on's with no kick out on them. they are longer than mine so i'm assuming they are for a dbl cab. Koi is marked on the separate brackets. so Koi, give me a call to get your sliders!

The second pallet looked to be both bolt on sets. The guy told me that pallet was supposed to go to the windward side. They were at the pearl city industrial area when I saw them.

also for Eric, there was three sets of separate wrapped parts. two packs were brackets with 8 tabs each marked for each of us and the third package is 4 long pieces with bolt threads welded into one of the ends. but it isn't marked as to who they are for. who's pieces are those? can't really tell what they are for by looking at them. and for that matter do you have any instructions for the weld shop and what/where to weld the 8 tabs? wanna make sure it's done right.

 

Aloha Jamie can you PM me your number. Mine is supposed to be a weld on hybrid 2 piece with kickout for a double cab

 

Just picked mine up from pearl city industrial. The other set of sliders belong to David. I left them there figuring you would rather drive to Pearl City than Kapolei.

 

Wow....I didn't even get a call. They told me they were shipping the first pallet to Kaneohe. Hmpf.

Ah well. I guess I'll p/u Friday. My taco will be getting serviced tomorrow.

Picked mine up today.......

These things are tough!
So I took mine to Spray Liner Hawaii 808-841-0600. Chris the owner was very cool and proffessional. If anyone is intersted let me know because he could give a group discount. Due to the fact that these are going to be prone to chip and scrapes he said that a catalist etched primer should be used so the bed liner material will adhere properly to the steel.
He quoted me $300 for both the primer and liner because of the length and size and hidden areas of the 2 piece with kick out slider.
I'll let you know how it turns out...

 

These were on the pallet Jamey picked up, we both got weld on's, these have a nut attached to the back of them.
Anybody know what they are?

Ok, Eric said they belong to a bolt on set, so either Dave's or Karlo's set.
PM me either Dave or Karlo if you didn't get a set of these things.

 

PMed back. Looks like maybe those came loose from the other pallet that just arrived there and Fastenal reattached those to the wrong pallet....
SO whoever is missing those with a bolt on set, you'll need them for install. They're to reach the back of the mounting bolts up in the front boxed section of the frame.

 

didnt realize there was more than one David H on the order, I was in pearl city today so I dropped by, sadly not mine on the pallet. can't wait for mine though!

 

As luck would have it, those probably are mine. Had one of my workers pick up my sliders this AM and there was nothing resembling that attached.....

Eric, these are hella nice sliders! Fastenal sucks tho.

 

Looks like they do go to yours Dave(you got the rest of the hardware though, right?). They can still be installed without the extension bars, but on that front mount of the slider they are for the 2 bolts on either side of the legs so those would be temporarily missing. All the other bolts will go in, so I'd just install without and get them when you can. Just dont bash em too hard till all the bolts are on.
Yeah, been getting a lot of complaints on Fastenal's handling and losing hardware/etc lately.
